Adejumoke “Jumoke” Akin-Taylor is a seasoned construction and project management professional with over 37 years of experience delivering complex public and private sector projects. Her extensive career spans infrastructure development, program oversight, and stakeholder management, establishing her as a trusted leader in the construction industry.

Jumoke holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology from the University of the District of Columbia and a Master of Science in Construction Management from California State University, East Bay. She further distinguishes herself through a robust set of professional credentials, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), and Design-Build Institute of America Professional (DBIA) certifications — a combination that reflects both her technical depth and her commitment to professional excellence.

Beyond her engineering career, Jumoke is deeply committed to African governance and development. She serves as Second Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Africa Leadership Group, an organization dedicated to advancing good governance, transparency, and accountability across the African continent. She also serves as Executive Director of the Rebuild Nigeria Initiative, a mission-driven organization focused on fostering peace, reconciliation, and sustainable development in Nigeria.

As Vice-Chairman of ICONS, Jumoke brings to the committee a rare blend of technical expertise, executive leadership, and grassroots advocacy — making her an invaluable voice in shaping policy and strategy for Nigeria and the Sahel region.
